This course discusses the ‘treadmill of achievement’ that high achievers often experience where they are always looking for the next goal, to achieve the next big milestone and in doing so, are never fully satisfied. The topic of being passive aggressive is also explored as well as the bringing together and aligning body and mind.
The question of how we react to threats and other social stimulus in our environment is explored in the Polyvagal course as well as looking at trauma in our lives and the impact that it can have on our nervous system. The primitive state of flight or flight is also outlined in this course and a useful Q and A sessions features at the end of the video.
